How to Apply ?

✍️ Application Unique ID
• Click on “New Applicant” in the admission portal
• Upon successful submission, the applicant will receive a Unique ID and Password via SMS to the registered mobile number.

👤 Online Application
• Log in to the admission portal using the Unique ID and Password.
• Complete the online application form as per the instructions provided.

💵 Online Payment
• Payment can be made online after completing course selection.

Instructions:
• Use a valid Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
• Avoid using old RuPay cards.
• Wait until the payment success confirmation appears in the portal.

Application Fee Details:
• Aided Courses: ₹50 per course
• Self-financed Courses: ₹200 per course
• Hostel Application: ₹200
Note:
• SC/ST/SCA applicants can apply for Aided Courses free of cost.

🧾 Print Application
After successful payment, applicants must download and print the completed application form.

🏠Hostel Application
Click “Apply for Hostel” only after submitting the course application and pay Rs 200.
⚠️ Submission of hostel application does not guarantee hostel admission.

🔍 Application Updates
Applicants are advised to regularly check their application status by logging into the admission portal.
General Rules
⚠️ Applications with incorrect or incomplete details will be rejected, and admission will be cancelled automatically.

Candidates should qualify under any of the following examinations:

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Government of Tamil Nadu.
Candidates who have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (XII standard)  of the Central Board of Secondary Education with not less than five subjects, of which English shall be one.
Candidates who have passed ISC Examination of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination with not less than five subjects, of which English shall be one..
Candidates who have passed any Examination conducted by a State Government or a University, or a Board under the 10+2 pattern with not less than five subjects, of which English shall be one.
Candidates from other universities or bodies and those from other countries having qualifications not listed above should send their transcripts to The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai – 625 021, Tamilnadu, India and obtain a provisional eligibility certificate for admission as per the Government of India circular, Ministry of Education, dated 20th April 1992.

Counselling Process

Points to remember for Online Counselling for applicants

Applicants must decide the course to be selected. Once the course is selected, it CANNOT be changed.
Applicants are expected to log-in to the college website with their unique ID at least 15 minutes before the counselling process starts.
Even if the applicant has a high aggregate marks which is greater than or equal to the cut-off marks but fails to note the availability of seat, she CANNOT DEMAND the seat later.
The cut-off marks for each category should be CONTINUOUSLY monitored.
Applicants will be ranked based on their aggregate scores, for each category OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/DNT/CH/SC/ST, and SCA
Applicants should have their ATM card/net banking/credit card/UPI(Gpay, PhonePe, Paytm) ready, to make the online payment. Please avoid using Rupay card.
Once fee payment is made, it is mandatory to complete all the required fields for UMIS data to download the Provisional Admission Intimation Letter. Accuracy of all entered information should be ensured

Ensure you carry all required documents in original + self-attested copies.

Important Verification Guidelines

The document verification will be intimated through SMS / email / admission portal .
Students must attend document verification along with their parents. Failure to do so will result in non-verification of certificates.
Outstation students are required to provide local guardian details at the time of verification.
Certificate verification will be conducted only on the date specified in the provisional admission notification.

  • Mark Sheets of +2 / its Equivalent Certificate (Original and 1 self-attested photocopy)
  • Transfer and Conduct Certificates – (Original DO NOT LAMINATE and 2 self-attested photocopies in black and white only)
  • Digital Community Certificate (Original and 2 self-attested photocopies)
  • Parent's Community Certificate mentioning religion for Christian Students Only (Original and 2 self-attested photocopies)
  • OBC Certificate (if available) (Original and 2 self-attested photocopies)
  • Updated Aadhaar Card of the Applicant and Parents (1 self-attested photocopy)
  • Voter ID of Student/Parent (1 self-attested photocopy)
  • Updated Income Certificate of Parents (1 self-attested photocopy)
  • Certificate of Physical Fitness by the Candidate Download the form from the website

  • Student Bank Passbook (Front Page Only) / Bank Account Details:
    Students must possess an account with completed EKYC verification. Those without an individual EKYC-verified account are required to initiate the account opening process immediately, ensure Aadhaar linkage (Seeding), and complete the EKYC update. (1 self-attested photocopy)
  • Eligibility certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate, ex-serviceman certificate, first graduate certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • Any Other Certificate(s) cited in the application form Compulsory for applicants under Sports etc.,
  • Foreign Students – Photocopy of valid visa and passport

⚠️ IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS – TRANSFER CERTIFICATE COPY

• Submission of colour photocopy of the Transfer Certificate instead of original will be rejected and provisional admission stands cancelled

• As the submitted photocopies will not be returned, make sufficient copies before you submit photocopies during document verification, especially the Transfer Certificate
