The Centre for Information Technology, LDC, started with two computers in 1986 and has grown to become the hub of computing activity on campus. The Centre provides training, support, network, and maintenance services to the college community.
The College operates within a total virus-free networking environment, connected to central computer servers located at the Centre, with an uninterrupted power supply. The entire campus is interconnected with LAN using star and ring topology through a structured network of L3, L2, and manageable switches.
Students and faculty can access e-resources from anywhere on campus through this robust network. A leased line with 1Gbps bandwidth from BSNL and Airtel ensures high-speed internet connectivity.
Additionally, a secure firewall is in place to provide safe internet access and prevent unauthorized intrusions, ensuring seamless and secure digital interactions across the campus.
