Utilizing the learning resources at Library for effective teaching and Learning

Genesis

In early days the library was housed at Van Allen and then at college Hall. The Miller Memorial Library, dedicated by Mrs. Miller in the memory of her husband on March 8th 1964, houses reference books, periodicals, journals and books on Humanities and Arts.

  • One of the founders of this college
  • The first person to give donation
  • Statesman, Wise counselor, Administrator and Generous Friend
  • Charter member of the governing council
  • Mrs.J.X.Miller was teaching at Capron Hall High school
  • Mrs.M.Miller generously donated a large sum of money for a library cum Auditorium in memory of her Late husband who passed away on April 6th 1951.

Lady Doak College Library's Mission is to identify, acquire, organize, preserve & provide access to pertinent recorded knowledge to support teaching, learning, research and creative Archives

Archives Mission Statement:

Lady Doak College systematically collects, organizes, describes, preserves, promotes & makes available official records (textual & non textual) and personal papers of enduring historical, legal, administrative and fiscal value.
