Miss Katie Wilcox
1889 - 1974 | Served in India: 1915 - 1958In Lady Doak College: 1948 - 1958. Miss Katie Wilcox, an American missionary with dedicatory zeal and vision, founded Lady Doak College. Her pioneering service in the cause of women's education laid the foundation for what would become the first women's college in Madurai.
