Examination

Formative Assessment consists of Tests, Assignments, Quiz, Open Book Assessments and Seminar. Summative Examinations will be conducted at the end of each Semester.

Both Formative and Summative Examinations are required for a student to complete a course. The ratio for Formative and Summative evaluation for all UG and PG courses is:

SUMMATIVE EXAMINATIONS

At the end of each Semester (Odd & Even), Summative Examination will be conducted for all students. To appear for Summative Examinations, a student must complete all the formative requirements, fulfill the attendance requirements, and have paid all dues.

TRANSPARENCY

A detailed scheme of valuation for the question paper of each course (both Regular & Supplementary) will be made available on the next day of the examination in the student's automation portal.

• The answer scripts will not be distributed to the students.
• The provisional results will be published in the student's automation portal and students can apply for revaluation within the scheduled week if revaluation is required.

After the Transparency, the results are presented in the Result Passing Board for approval, after which the results are published.

PUBLICATION OF RESULTS

The results of the Summative Examinations will ordinarily be published within 15 days from the date of the last examination.
