Grading System

All assessments will be done on the basis of absolute marks and the marks will be converted into letter grades and grade points as given below:

Passing Minimum:(UG)

B.A. / B.Sc. (Special) / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.B.A / Diploma:
     SE Minimum 30%        Aggregate 40%
B.Com (Honors):
     SE Minimum 40%        Aggregate 50%

After the results are declared, cumulative mark statement will be issued to each student based on the Cumulative Weighted Arithmetic Mean (CWAM) and Overall Grade Point (OGP).

Criteria for the award of classes in Parts I, II, III:

OGP* Class
≥ 8.5 First Class with Special Distinction
≥ 7.5 & < 8.5 First Class with Distinction
≥ 6.0 & < 7.5 First Class
≥ 5.0 & < 6.0 Second Class
≥ 4.0 & < 5.0 Third Class (Applicable only for UG students)
