The Dean of Academic Affairs plays a vital role in managing human resources, financial planning, academic regulations, curriculum development, and overall academic quality. The office of the Dean is spearheaded by two Deans, assisted by two Assistant Deans and two Office Assistants. They work closely with department heads to determine staffing needs, oversee faculty recruitment, and ensure workload balance. Financial responsibilities include finalizing fee structures and managing departmental expenditures. The Dean also updates academic regulations, prepares the course catalogue, and handles student readmissions and transfers. To maintain high academic standards, they conduct workshops, facilitate guest lectures, and gather feedback to improve courses. The Curriculum Planning and Evaluation Cell, and the Deans, ensure that the curriculum aligns with institutional goals and industry trends. The college currently offers 24 Undergraduate, 15 Postgraduate, 3 PG Diploma, 5 Offline, and 1 Online Diploma, 13 offline and 3 Online Certificate courses. Additionally, the Dean assists with new programme introductions, collaborates on strategic initiatives, and signs Memorandum of Understanding to enhance educational and research opportunities through industry partnerships.
